Photo and recipe credit: MEATMEN COOKING CHANNEL [youtube] This is definitely one of those 'you gotta try it to believe it' recipes. Perfect for a Sunday afternoon brunch with family and loved ones. Best paired with a cup of bright, tart, and nutty Prosperoo from Hook (which will be leaving our coffee menu at the end of the month!) We haven't gotten down to experimenting with every Coffee Pork Ribs recipe there is out there but we're most inclined to this one by The Meat Men simply because of how mouthwatering their video is. Check them out here.

  • 500g pork ribs
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce

  • ½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 2 tbsp rice flour
  • 2 tbsp potato starch
  • 3 tbsp water
  • Oil for deep-frying

  • 32g of freshly roasted coffee, ground super fine (The Meat Men used instant coffee because it dissolves in water but if you'd like a more aromatic and flavoursome dish and are okay with a grainier sauce, freshly roasted coffee is always better)
